the mechanics

a footed measure pouring grain, engraving — capthe measure fills at the open: the smaller of $50 and the last 24h of the coin's tax, in dollars, divided by the seats that are taken.

the seat pays nothing out. capacity the seats did not use is not handed to anyone: it buys the coin and burns it. unstake returns the stake and nothing else.

the measure

the unit: $QUOTUM itself. nothing minted, no second token. what the seats did not spend by the bell buys $QUOTUM on the pair and burns it: the supply only goes down.
the ceiling: a bell spends at most the unspent cap, and only the nvda the tax already paid into the contract. it buys at the pair's price and refuses one more than 10% plus fees over the day's average.
burn(): the token's own burn. the event Burned carries the dollars, the nvda and the tokens, and totalSupply drops by exactly that. this page reads both.
